Three people arrived on time and, after a short briefing to make sure we agreed on what work was going to be done, and the estimated cost. We showed them around the house we were moving from and discussed how the room names were a bit different from the origin rooms. All three men were cordial, professional, and responsive to our questions. We confirmed that the truck was empty. And the estimate we were given a few days earlier? Spot on. These folks were very responsive, accurate, hard working, and diligent. From the booking we got several emails and phone calls leading up to the move to ensure we were prepared; the two trucks arrived on-time and they were friendly, considerate, clean, and VERY hard working! They moved a 5,000 sq ft house into the trucks in less than 3 hours! Nothing major broken (prob our packing fault) and no nicks or scratches. They documented everything and communicated very well. The mission was to load furniture into a Pod while my house was being renovated.The men were very professional in the handling of several VERY expensive furniture pieces. The guys came in and looked at what needed to be packed, and got right to work and didn't stop. We got them some lunch and they sat and ate quickly and then got right back to work. The day of the move they worked just as efficiently and showed great patience as they brought items in and we sometimes had to think about where it needed to go. They took great care to avoid walls and door jams when moving in items, and were careful with our belongings. The excellent service started with my first call, they were friendly and professional. The estimate I received was accurate. The movers carefully wrapped all of our furniture to ensure it was not damaged & worked quickly moving our furniture while carefully placing everything so it would fit in the POD. The only thing I wish had been done differently was when I called for my estimate appointment and informed them I would be renting a POD they failed to tell me Firehouse Movers offered them as well. I did not find out until they came out to give the estimate and had already rented the POD. The movers mentioned this as well. I would have loved to have been able to do everything through one company.read more

The Firehouse Movers provided a call ahead and arrived on time. I was expecting it to take longer because they are hourly. But they came in and moved professionally and safely. I was impressed with their speed, and how they took care to prevent damage to our furniture. They also followed up once the items were in storage. Lastly, instead of not speaking, they asked how we were doing during the move, a nice personal touch. We wish we could give more than 5 stars! The communication from the office staff is excellent! The movers showed up on time, actually early. We received a text with an approximate ETA and a text when they arrived. They were MORE THAN careful about moving everything and took EXCELLENT care of our belongings! Moved 3-bedroom + patio house (so it took 2 vans) to another city 2 hours away. From the beginning, FMovers were organized and communicated very well.Movers arrived on time to the minute. All 6 team members were organized, polite, experienced and helpful. They divided tasks like a team and moved efficiently. Large pictures and mirrors were wrapped professionally by them - we did all the other packing earlier.At the receiving end, beds and dressers were put EXACTLY where we wanted. I've used Firehouse Movers twice now and both times was amazing. I was moving from a third floor apartment to a house and Firehouse Movers made the whole process painless. When I called for a quote I spoke to Sierra, who was very nice and explained everything to me and made sure I understood. After booking the movers she called back a few days before the move date and double checked all the information and made sure everything was still on track. The day of the move the movers, Ryan, Taki and Wynard, were on time. They worked quickly and efficiently. Once they arrived at the move to address they were just as quick and efficient in unloading all my stuff. I was very impressed with them and really appreciate all their effort and hard work. Just Wow!!!! I called to set up an appointment to have Firehouse Movers, move my parents (Felix and Cheryl) from an apartment to an house. First of all, I spoke with three separate receptionist because of course I had to call around before I decided who to go with and all three of these ladies were absolutely wonderful. The day of the move I received a heads up call when the crew was heading to my parents apartment. I highly recommend PHILIP, JORDAN and PARKER because they are the complete package. They were fast, polite, respectful, patient, knowledgeable and pretty much just perfect lol. My parents just had a brand new bed set up by Rooms to Go about 2 months ago and it was already squeaky but after Philip’s crew set up the bed at the new place, it was no longer squeaky. Like seriously, who moves your stuff and makes it better too? These guys!! I could probably write a book on all of the positive things my parents said about these guys and my mom told me to find their parents on google so I can give them a 5 star rating of how good they raised their boys lol.read more

I used Firehouse movers for a local move. The 3 guys assigned to my move were Dillon, Mark, and Trey. They were fantastic!!! They were prompt, efficient, and friendly. I still don’t know how they got some of my very large furniture thru the doorway (I was afraid to watch) but not a scratch on the pieces or a mark on the walls! Very impressive. If I tried to carry something, they would insist on taking it out of my hands to handle for me. The gentlemen that arrived were extremely professional, prompt and courteous! They did an exceptional job loading, moving, and unloading our personal things. I contacted them approximately 3 weeks before my move and was promptly given an estimate as well as all the information I would need for the move. I need packing blankets etc. for my stuff that was going to storage and they were able to tell me exactly what I needed.They followed up a few days before the move to ensure that everything was on track. The 3-man crew arrived promptly at 7 AM on the day of the move and helped me pack and move a 3000 sq ft house to a 10x15 storage unit and 700 sq ft apartment. The crew was very efficient and mindful of time. It was the most stress free move I have experienced thanks to their professionalism. We were moving between apartments, and they maneuvered through the construction very well. They were quick and careful with everything. The three guys we had were not only very efficient, but were hilarious and extremely sweet. Will never use another moving service, highly recommend to all our friends and neighbors. Moving is never easy but with the help of the three Firehouse movers, it came close to being ideal. They not only arrived a few minutes early, but they also finished 30 minutes early, thus costing me less than the estimate. They were cheerful, professional, and knowledgeable. Great movers. A friend recommended them to me. They showed up about five or ten minutes early and got started quickly. No wasting time, they knocked the job out as fast as possible including disassembling and reassembling many items; no damages items, no scuffed or damaged walls or doors. My husband and I decided to try Firehouse Movers after being less than impressed with the company we used on our last move. The experience as a whole was 5 star. The office staff was very professional and knowledgeable when I initially booked the move and were even flexible in accommodating a date change. Jesus and his team, which included Steven and Jakeem, arrived promptly at 7 am, as requested. They assessed what was being moved and got right to it. They wrapped all furniture and handled it as if it was their own, which we appreciated so much.Overall, we could not have been more impressed with Jesus and his team, and Firehouse Movers as a whole. We hope not to move again in a very long time, but should we ever need movers, Firehouse is who we'd call without a doubt.read more

Great but almost didn't use again. I called them first because I used them before, great estimate, great service, super fast, came in lower than their reasonable estimate the last time I used them. Just used again today. Almost didn't use them again based on their extremely high estimate. But I trusted them and decided to use them anyways. I am happy to report they came in well under their estimate and did a awesome job just like last time.They told me they have new software that gives the estimates. I'd look into getting better software. I moved the exact same stuff and it was 150 more on the estimate. I haven’t yet had the pleasure of working with Firehouse Movers but I wanted to highly recommend them for their customer service. I was put in a bind with a delay of closing on a house and needed to do a rather complicated move. Firehouse Movers helped us with our last THREE moves and our most recent was the most challenging yet. Our movers (Jesus, Joseph, and Alfredo) were AMAZING!! They were perfectly kind, professional, courteous, and HARD-WORKING!! They moved our largest, heaviest, and most awkward pieces of furniture with precision and care. They disassembled, moved, and reassembled 3 large beds, wrapped and protected leather furniture, appliances (which they unhooked at our old house and hooked back up for us at our new house) and a number of dressers and ancillary furniture items. Our experience with Firehouse Movers was fantastic. Jarrod, Rodney, and Joe, did an exceptional job. These guys were professional, fast, and efficient. Jarrod was training Joe to be a crew lead, and honestly, all 3 of these guys could/should be crew leads (from my perspective) based on the quality of service we received today. They made sure our boxes, furniture, and miscellaneous items were all handled with care. They didn't move slow to squeeze in another 30 minute to cost me another hour. They didn't have any weird restrictions or limitations. If I asked them to move something they were more than happy to accommodate us. Never heard them complain once, even with it being cold out. I will most certainly be using Firehouse Movers in the future, and will be recommending them to all my friends and family.Oh! and shout out to the scheduling team. I have used Firehouse movers for four moves. The last move this past week was a partial move of furniture we purchased and moving stuff around in our house to make room for it. The process started out bad with text messages from the same employee telling me that I had not signed the contract however it was never emailed to me and finally after the third or fourth conversation it finally got emailed to me. This left a bad feeling about the process. The next issue was Firehouse not willing to be flexible enough to provide us with a move window one business day ahead of the move and only telling us we were the second move of the day and they would call us 30 minutes ahead of time. Normally this would be fine but we had too many different parties in play and it was very difficult to try to work with this. The only option was to change the date and pay a $150 change fee. Having used them before and planning a future full house move I was not willing to do this and just asked for a little flexibility. Thankfully Whitney came to the rescue and figured out how to work with us to get it scheduled to our satisfaction by agreeing to have the crew make multiple stops for us. Whitney not only saved the business this week but she also secured our next move with Firehouse when she put the customer first and made sure our needs were met. I sincerely hope her bosses read this review because they have an awesome employee and should use her as an example within their company of how to build customer satisfaction. The crew of two that disassembled, moved and reassembled our furniture were professional and fast. We will be requesting them when we move again in the near future.read more

Great service! I first heard an advertisement for them through Way FM and decided to get a quote from them. Hiring hourly (instead of the amount of items/weight), I was concerned that the movers would move slower to get more money, however, the exact opposite happened. They were nearly jogging to and from the moving truck and my house to get the items in and out as fast as possible. One of the movers also found my lost iPod touch under the couch cushions and brought it to my attention immediately. He could have EASILY taken this without me knowing, but did not. Firehouse was amazing! The guys were so professional and quick. We even had a little delay after a small gas leak but they kept on going! Not 1 scratch or dent to anything!

Best moving experience ever! We used Firehouse Movers for our move a few months ago. The price was very reasonable and we had heard positive things from friends. The service coordinator was so nice and patient answering all of my questions and making sure we knew what to expect on moving day. Our crew Carlos (the foreman), Noe, and Amendeo were all amazing! They were polite while speaking with me and my family, respectful of our belongings, and super efficient. You could tell this team knew what they were doing. We moved from a 4 bedroom 2 story house and everything ended up fitting in their trailer in one trip. I have already referred two people to them and will continue to do so. The Firehouse Movers men that came to move our two large lounge chairs upstairs {the movers that had moved us into our home couldnot get the chairs upstairs) but the men from Firehouse moves them with out any trouble at all. Every single person I interacted with from Firehouse Movers was polite, professional, and friendly (2 ladies on the phone, and 3 movers). I was so pleased that the team of movers were fast, efficient, and careful. I know we were their second or third stop on a Saturday afternoon, but they moved so fast. What I was expecting to be 4-5 hours took 2.5 and that’s with everything being wrapped and carefully moved.read more

Was recommended to use Firehouse Movers by a friend and was very glad we used this company. A crew of three arrived promptly, were courteous, very careful of our belongings, and HUSTLED the whole time. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I expected to pay for about 2.5-3 hours of moving. Luckily my move was within about a mile of the old place and we had everything ready to go. The guys showed up and immediately jumped to work and got the move done in 2 hours flat. Super impressed with their work and their professionalism. And they did it so quickly that it took most of the pain out of our move. I highly recommend these guys for any moving needs and will definitely use them in the future.read more

Loved my crew! Team Jose! They were friendly and efficient. They listened to my requests and helped me in achieving my needed results (for example placing certain items near the front of my unit) I moved into storage for a while and will definitely be requesting this crew for my move out of storage.read more

Loved my experience with Firehouse Movers. This was my second time using them for a Dallas move and I will probably use them again when I move out of my current place. The crew that showed up was prompt, polite, and handled my things with care. The price for the move was more than fair for the level of service they provide. The Firehouse crew of 3 movers were great. They arrived as stated at 7 am and worked tirelessly for three hours to get my stuff moved across town and stacked in the storage unit. The actual time came in under the estimated total time. I was impressed with their strength, professionalism, and care for moving our items. Will recommend them to my friends and will use them for the next part of our move. Additionally, the scheduling staff was great on the phone.
